Richmond’s newest boutique hotel is an adaptive reuse of existing buildings on Broad Street in the heart of downtown Richmond. The Quirk Hotel offers 75 guest rooms and suites in an Italian Renaissance style building built in 1916. The expansive lobby features original columns and groin ceilings. Guest beds are made from floor joists salvaged from the original building. The maple and pine hardwood floors are original as well, refinished for a contemporary, sophisticated elegance.

Dining options include the Coffee Bar, bars in the lobby and on the rooftop and their signature restaurant, Maple & Pine. Meeting spaces include the mezzanine, gallery courtyard, rooftop and two interior meeting rooms. The Quirk Gallery and Gallery Store feature art exhibitions of innovative work by both established and emerging artists.

The Quirk Hotel was named one of the Top 60 Best New Hotels and Resorts in the World on the 2016 Condé Nast Traveler The Hot List. The project won a 2016 Engineering News Record Mid-Atlantic Region “Best Project” award in the Residential/Hospitality category. Projects were evaluated on the ability of the project team to overcome challenges, contribution to the industry and community, safety and construction, and design quality.
