Interns of the Week

PROJECT TAGS:

Here are some of our amazing interns! Thomas Phillips hails from #JMU and Josh Bartlett, Troy Clark, Cameron Wetzler all come from #VT.

Thomas is a second-year intern working on the Enterprise Technology Project. He’s using virtual design and construction (VDC) tools such as building information modeling (BIM) and laser scanners to assist with the construction process.  Building upon skills he learned during his first and second years, Thomas hopes to become a project manager. When Thomas isn’t working, he loves fishing, hunting and surfing in the Outer Banks.

Josh Bartlett is a first-year intern working on the RRMC Pavilion Expansion. He spends his time working on the punch list and assisting the project superintendent site. Still learning about the construction industry, Josh is excited to learn how to link his passion for civil engineering with the field of construction. When Josh has the day off, he enjoys playing golf, producing music and reading books and comics.

Troy Clark, a second-year intern, assists with quality checks of the modeling process within our BIM department. Ready to learn for his second year, Troy is looking forward to better understanding the BIM and VDC aspects of the construction industry. When Troy isn’t working, he enjoys writing, graphic design, and listening to music.

Cameron Wetzler is another first-year intern working on the NASA Measurement Systems Laboratory project. He’s helping with quality control and working with sub-contractors! When Cameron isn’t working, you can find him outdoors hiking, fishing or playing disc golf.

Stay tuned for more about our interns throughout the summer!
