My story: I moved away from the glorious Southern California weather in 2001 when my parents’ business brought me and my brother, Justin, to the East Coast. Having lived here since then, I now proudly consider myself a Virginia Beach native. I’m a graduate of Cape Henry Collegiate and Virginia Tech with a Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction. After graduating, I was hired full time at a local General Contracting firm in Norfolk. Through my first few professional years, I became well-acquainted with multiple W.M. Jordan employees and the company’s outstanding reputation. That’s when I took a confident leap of faith and was fortunate to become a member of the WMJ team! Currently, my wife, Casey, and I are lucky enough to live within walking distance of the Chesapeake Bay with our cat and dog.

Why I like working at W.M. Jordan Company: Day in and day out, the leadership exemplifies “the relentless pursuit of excellence” through a family and team-oriented mindset. This type of enthusiasm truly is contagious from one employee to another. Our focus and investments in innovation, client relations, professional development, and employee wellness are just a few of the reasons why I enjoy coming into work every morning. The on-site gym and frequent “Fun Committee” activities are also a plus!

My hidden talent: I have an inner MacGyver when it comes to opening bottles without a bottle opener. According to my wife, I have an oddly high tolerance for spicy foods. I’m talking about ordering the spiciest chicken wings on the menu… and dipping them in hot sauce.

My favorite things: The beach, travelling, cat (Archer), dog (Baylor), the Hokies, Los Angeles sports teams, and The Bay Local Bubs (2017 VB Rec Softball champs and counting).
