Lakewood Manor, one of four retirement communities owned and operated by Virginia Baptist Homes, is located on a 68-acre wooded site in Richmond's West End. W. M. Jordan Company provided construction management and preconstruction services to Virginia Baptist Homes and SFCS, Inc. for their expansion program for this community. These services included construction cost control, advice on phasing and sequencing of construction, and a sequence of cost estimates. The project added 14 new cottages, 30 new Independent Living apartments, and 128 new Assisted Living apartments to the Lakewood Manor campus.
