W. M. Jordan Company provided general contracting services for a 56,454 square foot, two-story facility for Norfolk Naval Amphibious Base. This multi-story building includes office space, meeting rooms, and staging areas to support SEAL Team Operations. The project is a LEED project with a goal of Silver self-certification.
The project was constructed with a concrete pile foundation, a steel frame, metal stud framing, masonry walls, and a modified bitumen roof. Site work included associated utilities, storm water management, paving and incidental related work.
