W. M. Jordan Company is providing construction management services to Collins Enterprises, the developer of this upscale apartment complex. The Heritage at Settler's Landing offers 140 apartment residences in one, two and three bedroom layouts with on-site parking. The apartments are designed to appeal to young professionals and empty nesters looking to enjoy the local history and color of downtown Hampton. The area offers a pedestrian-friendly environment with nearby shops, restaurants, art galleries, and the Virginia Air & Space Center, all against a backdrop of expansive waterfront views. The project encompasses 183,592 square feet of new construction in three, four-story buildings; one with 70 units, one with 34 units, and one with 36 units. The buildings are wood-framed with brick and siding exteriors. During the preconstruction phase, W. M. Jordan Company performed constructability analysis, document review, cost estimating, and value engineering. |
