 
Ferguson Enterprises Corporate Headquarters
Ferguson Enterprises is the country's largest wholesale distributor of plumbing and heating supplies. Wolseley, the world's largest trade distributor of plumbing and heating products, is their parent company. More than 800 Ferguson associates provide administrative and technical support to nearly 700 locations from their Newport News corporate headquarters. In order to consolidate their work force and provide space for future growth, Ferguson Enterprises is expanding their corporate campus. W. M. Jordan Company provided construction management services for the first, second, and third buildings on the campus. The original two-story headquarters was completed in 1974. The second three-story building, designed by Rancorn Wildman Architects and completed in 1996, contained 65,000 square feet and featured a complete fiber optic network and computer room, a training facility with full audio, video and teleconferencing capabilities, and traditional styling with extensive interior woodwork. The third five-story building, completed in 2003, is 154,000 square feet and houses Ferguson's computer system for their entire national network of branches. Rancorn Wildman Architects provided architectural services for the shell building, and James River Architects provided architectural services for the interior improvements to several floors. James River Architects is currently working with Woseley on the next phase of the campus, which includes several additional buildings and a parking garage.
