The outlook for continued growth of commercial development in central Virginia has prompted W.M. Jordan Company to initiate an expansion of their Richmond office in the Manchester District downtown.

"This project is as much about our company's expanding commitment to the central Virginia market as it is about expanding our building and our workforce," said W.M. Jordan Company President and CEO, John Lawson. "Our people have responded to the opportunities of this market and we continue to see excellent growth opportunities in Central Virginia for our company."

To alleviate W.M. Jordan's current need for office space and accommodate continued corporate expansion, the company is doubled the size of its office building at the corner of Bainbridge Street and Commerce Road. The new two-story building exceeds 15,000 square feet, and features a more-contemporary exterior façade, expanded parking, landscaping and green areas. The building has a cleaner, more modern appearance, although in keeping with historic structures in the neighborhood. The new building incorporates environmental design principles and applied for "LEED Silver" certification from the US Green Building Council.
