Intern Year: Third Year

How do your duties differ from previous years? Less hands on, more management. More involvement through technology, such as using the iPad, Bluebeam and emailing.

How has your internship impacted your studies? You can’t teach the experience that you learn out in the field.

What advice would you give to a first-year intern? Take on as much responsibility as you can handle and ask for more if you are not given enough. You will be given the chance to learn anything and everything you want to learn. Most importantly, ask as many questions as possible and soak up the information.

Describe your favorite way to spend your time outside of working this summer: Currently training for an NPC (National Physique Committee) Men’s Physique Competition. I spend my time after work training in the gym and cooking meals for the week. On weekends, I have tried my best to get away to the beach or go to the mountains to fish or hunt.

Do you have any hidden talents most people don’t know about you? None that I can think of.

What’s the most daring thing you’ve done recently? Nothing that I can think of; I’ve been pretty busy.

Where would you most want to live after college? In Virginia
