W. M. Jordan uses topcon technology on Norfolk Hilton project

August 12, 2016

As anticipation for the 2017 opening of The Main is mounting, W. M. Jordan is working to minimize risk and increase quality on the project through the use of a Sokkia SX-105T robotic total station.

“We initially purchased the Sokkia robotic total station for quality control,” said Dwayne Sellars, virtual construction manager of W. M. Jordan. “And that use alone more than made the investment worthwhile, since there were several concrete slabs and sleeves that were off and we caught before the pours. We prevented some hugely costly mistakes from occurring.”
