The W.M. Jordan / HCC Mentor Protégé Team Awarded New $42M Contract

November 6, 2012

This past month, Homeland Contracting Corporation & W.M. Jordan Company were awarded a $42M design/build contract for a Consolidated Elementary School at Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Virginia. Homeland Contracting Corporation joined forces with W.M. Jordan Company in 2005 as part of a Mentor-Protégé program and has seen a great influx in projects ever since. The contract scope includes the design and construction of a new 129,000 square foot elementary school facility to replace an existing elementary school. The new facility will serve 750 students, Pre-K through 5th grade, and will contain classrooms, offices, an auditorium, cafeteria, and restroom facilities.

This recent award will be one of many successful projects for the Mentor-Protégé team and will appropriately reflect W.M. Jordan Company’s dedication to education. In addition, this award is the culmination of the hard work, dedication and commitment to quality both by Homeland Contracting and our team at W.M. Jordan Company. The design build project team includes Homeland Contracting Corp., W.M. Jordan Company, RRMM Architects and Waller Todd and Sadler Architects.
