Jordan's Experience Modification Rate (EMR) is consistently below the national average of all construction companies. This rating reduces the cost of our Worker's Compensation Insurance, thus reducing costs to our clients. That's not only good for our workforce, it's good for the bottom line of your project, too.

Our Safety Team

W. M. Jordan Company's safety professionals lead the effort to promote, support, and maintain safe, clean and efficient job sites. Scott Sutton, our Director of Loss Prevention, administers W. M. Jordan Company's safety program. In addition, our Safety Managers spend all of their time visiting each project site, providing oversight and training for our Project Superintendents and subcontractors.

The Project Superintendent is responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly project site and safe operations on a daily basis. W. M. Jordan Company's Safety Program emphasizes policies such as 100% drug-free workplaces, requirements for hard hats and eye protection on all sites, and rewards for excellent performance. Our three-tiered "Coach, Counsel, Confront" approach to managing safe operations, combined with high expectations and enforcement, has proven effective in managing the risk inherent in our work.
